We had the closing for my super-awesome loft today and it was quite exciting. Basically we all (me, my Awesome Agent Stephanie, my lawyer, the seller's agent, the seller's lawyer, and the closing officer) sat in a room at the title company. My lawyer gave me a huge stack of documents to sign, which we then faxed over to my mortgage company for approval. Once the green light came, the seller's agent gave me the keys to my new condo and everyone got their commission/fee checks :) Happiness all around, obv.

All in all, Stephanie kept count, I signed 63 times. Among those signatures was a form just to record my signature, and a form to say "yes, I am aware I just signed all these documents". Paperless this transaction was not...

But I digress. Bottom line is, as of 1PM today I am a proud homeowner. Hurray!
