In NYC for three days for work - landed this afternoon. Had my first mani-pedi ever with Sara, by her UES place, walked around a bit, shopped at Zara (a mandatory stop when in NYC, as they don't have a store in Chicago), dinner in the meatpacking district, and a few drinks by myself at Hiro (Sara and Mel having decided it was "a school night"). Didn't feel like making friends by myself - and I do mean friends, not "friends", so went back to my hotel by Madison Square/ Flatiron district. I am now sitting on a very large expanse of down and Frette linens. Sleep beckons. Cheers, kids.
